On a cold December night in Philadelphia, a burst of gunfire shattered the stillness on the 700 block of Union Street in the Mantua section of the city. Inside a parked white Cadillac SUV, 53-year-old Kemo Vaughn and 28-year-old Tahira Wynn were ambushed. It was shortly after 10 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2024, when two unidentified men approached the vehicle and opened fire from both sides, unleashing a hail of at least 18 bullets.
