Death by Force

On May 20, 2023, Philadelphia police responded to a reported shooting at an apartment on the 100 block of East Roosevelt Boulevard in the Olney neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of 29-year-old Katie Dales and a 27-year-old man, both deceased from gunshot wounds. Dales had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head, while the male victim had a single gunshot wound to the mouth, which appeared to be self-inflicted. A firearm was recovered at the scene.
