Janet Woodson-Holmes, a 51-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 30, 2019, in Philadelphia, PA. She was one of four family members murdered inside their home in West Philadelphia. The other victims included her husband Leslie Holmes, 56, her stepson Sy-eed Woodson, 18, and her stepson Leslie Holmes Jr., 7. The suspect, Maurice Louis, 29, confessed to the killings and was charged with four counts of criminal homicide.
