The young female was inside her North Philadelphia home when she was accidentally shot in the head. At the time of the incident, Nyssa was in the company of her 12-year-old brother and five-year-old cousin, with no adult supervision present. The tragic event unfolded when the five-year-old cousin reportedly found a firearm and unintentionally discharged it, striking Nyssa.
