On April 11, 2023, 22-year-old Zhakira Bailey was fatally shot in North Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. in the 2500 block of North 10th Street, where officers found Bailey unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 3:40 p.m.
