Tylesha Watson, a 29-year-old Black woman, tragically lost her life on August 2, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA. She was an innocent bystander who was enjoying a summer barbecue with friends on the porch of her home on the 1800 block of Harrison Street. Around 8:14 p.m., a drive-by shooter opened fire on the crowd, and Watson was struck by a stray bullet in the back.
