On the evening of January 20, 2025, law enforcement officers in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to a residential neighborhood following reports of a shooting. Just after 7:30 p.m., police arrived at a home near the intersection of East 56th Street and Westridge Road in the southeastern part of the city.
