The incident occurred in the early hours of January 1, 2025, at a residence on Elmwood Avenue near 31st Street. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 2:45 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Calvin Bushnell suffering from gunshot wounds.
