On August 12, 2007, Marco Lugo, age 19, was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, just before 3:00 AM, near the intersection of 18th and Baltimore. Kansas City police were dispatched after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Marco Lugo in the back seat of a white GMC Yukon, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but unfortunately died shortly after arriving.
