On May 24, 2017, 33-year-old Antonio Hughes was found dead in Kansas City, Missouri. The Kansas City Police Department was dispatched to the area of 57th and Bales Avenue at approximately 7:16 p.m. after reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers were directed to the rear of a residence, where they found Hughes suffering from multiple traumatic injuries. Emergency services confirmed his death at the scene, and the case was classified as a homicide.
