In the quiet neighborhood of the 1600 block of Elmwood Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, the evening of Thursday, October 27, 2016, was shattered by violence. Anthony Bell, a 49-year-old man, was discovered in the front yard of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. The discovery prompted a swift response from law enforcement, who were called to the scene at approximately 7:30 p.m.
