In the summer of 2007, a man by the name of Victorino 'Neno' Perez-Vera passed away in Kansas City, Missouri. Born on August 17, 1972, in the town of Juventino Rosas in Guanajuato, Mexico, he had made his way to Kansas City in the late 1980s, building a life for himself far from his birthplace. A dedicated and hardworking individual, his children were the center of his world.
