On the night of December 27, 2024, tragedy struck in Shreveport, Louisiana, as 21-year-old Jakeva Datcher lost her life in a fatal shooting. Jakeva, a young African American woman, was found deceased in the backseat of an SUV on Curtis Lane after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
