On October 18, 2022, 10-month-old Lillian Rose Marter, a Caucasian female, tragically lost her life in a suspected murder-suicide incident in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred at Bill Cockrell Metro Park, where Lillian and her almost two-year-old brother, Ronnie Marter, were found inside a vehicle. The children had been abducted from their home earlier that evening by 25-year-old Anthony P. Smith, who was later found dead at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
