Chasmine Walters, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 9, 2019, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred during an altercation at the Royalty Lounge, a nightspot located in the 200 block of Texas Street in downtown Shreveport. Walters was critically wounded in the altercation and succumbed to her injuries the following day.
