Jalecia Latoria Deray Jennings, a 30-year-old Black woman, tragically lost her life on April 4, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the Werner Park neighborhood, where Jennings was fatally shot during an argument in the parking lot of the Union Masonic Temple PHA. She was subsequently taken to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
