On January 14, 2024, Jasmine Johnson, a 29-year-old resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, was fatally shot in a domestic violence incident. The shooting occurred just before 1:37 a.m. in the 2700 block of Willis Street in the Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood of Shreveport. Jasmine Johnson was shot multiple times along with her mother, Joan Johnson, 70, and a male victim, following a domestic altercation at their residence.
