In the early moments of an April morning in Shreveport, Louisiana, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet, tragically ending the life of 55-year-old Gina Foster. On April 22, 2016, Foster and her grandson, Syborio Foster, were standing outside a residence in the 4100 block of Martha Street when a vehicle approached. Multiple rounds were fired from the dark-colored, four-door sedan, striking both individuals.
