Kalisia Franklin, 27, a Black woman from Shreveport, was discovered on the morning of September 6, 2025, after police were called to a home in the 3100 block of DeSoto Street. Officers arrived around 8:30 a.m. and found clear signs of a violent struggle in a back room of the residence.
