In the late hours of October 13, 2014, the life of 34-year-old Gregory Morris was tragically cut short in a violent encounter at a Shreveport motel. That evening, inside a room at the Cajun Inn on Claiborne Avenue, a burst of gunfire erupted, leaving Morris fatally wounded and a woman, 30-year-old Sreeth Haskin, injured. The assailant had reportedly walked directly up to the hotel room and opened fire.
