Princess Cooper, a 25-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on September 18, 2019, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was found mortally wounded in a vacant lot in the 400 block of Egan Street in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood. Cooper had been shot multiple times and was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after 8 p.m. that evening.
