In the early hours of January 27, 2014, Cassandra Hampton, a 26-year-old Black/African American woman, was enjoying a night out in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood. Tragically, her life was cut short when she became an innocent victim caught in the crossfire of a violent shootout.
