Destiny Stewart, a 27-year-old woman from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost her life in an apparent murder-suicide that took place on March 21, 2025. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Forest Avenue, where law enforcement responded to reports of an aggravated assault involving gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered that both the victim and the suspect had sustained gunshot wounds. They were immediately transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
