April LaShay Spells, a 26-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on April 17, 2018. April was shot in the head during an altercation at a gas station on Bullard Street. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., and she was found lying next to a fuel pump. Despite being rushed to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, she succumbed to her injuries the following day.
