Kennedy Wilson, a 24-year-old woman from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on August 8, 2021. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Woodrow Wilson Avenue near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Kennedy was traveling westbound when she was shot. Despite being rushed to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, she succumbed to her injuries.
