A thoroughly disturbing and tragic incident unfolded on March 26, 2018, in Mendocino County, California, when Abigail Hart, a 14-year-old adopted Black girl, met her untimely death alongside her family. Abigail Hart was one of six adopted children of Jennifer Hart and Sarah Hart both White women, who ultimately died in the same event.
