Jennifer Ann Ray, a 30-year-old woman from Jackson, Mississippi, was tragically found dead on August 26, 2020. Her body was discovered outside a motel room in the 5700 block of I-55 North, just before midnight. According to the Jackson Police Department, Ray had been shot in the upper body during an altercation inside the motel room. After being shot, she managed to walk outside the room before collapsing and succumbing to her injuries.
