An 18-year-old Black female, Tawhia Bell, was found dead in Jackson, Mississippi, in the early morning hours of August 3, 2022. Responding to a single-car accident at the intersection of Bailey Avenue and Oak Street around 3:58 a.m., officers discovered Bell unresponsive inside a black 2013 Honda Accord that had crashed.
