In the spring of 2025, a meeting arranged for a gun transaction in southwest Louisville turned deadly, ending the life of 17-year-old Laith Rajha. The male teenager was found by Louisville Metro Police officers on the evening of May 6, suffering from a critical gunshot wound to the head at an apartment complex in the Valley Station neighborhood.
