In the early hours of June 19, 2018, the body of 23-year-old Ayub Maow, a male resident of Louisville, Kentucky, was discovered behind the Southland Terrace shopping center. The Jefferson County Coroner's office was called to the scene in the 3900 block of South 7th Street, near the railroad tracks, and pronounced him dead.

Initial reports from the Louisville Metro Police Department indicated that there were no obvious signs of foul play at the scene where Mr. Maow was found. At the time ...
