In the spring of 2012, the life of 22-year-old Craig Bland Jr., a male resident of Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of Thursday, May 17th, gunfire erupted in the Parkland neighborhood, claiming the lives of Bland and another young man, 24-year-old Tyson Mimms. The shooting, which also left two other men wounded, unfolded near the intersection of 32nd Street and West Kentucky Street.
