In the spring of 2023, a bright afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 23-year-old Javon M. Bailey. A Black male, Bailey was engaged in the mundane task of cutting grass in the Park Duvalle neighborhood on Friday, May 19th, when his life was tragically cut short.
