On January 15, 2023, 14-year-old Javarius Hendrix was fatally shot in the Wyandotte neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Brentwood Avenue, where police responded to a report of a shooting around 3 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Javarius with a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
