Do you know who murdered Eugene Turner? In the spring of 2017, the west Louisville community was shaken by the violent deaths of Eugene Turner, a 60-year-old Black male, and his aunt, Sudella Davis. The two were found deceased in their home in the Chickasaw neighborhood on Rosewell Avenue on the first of May. Both had been fatally shot in what police determined to be a double homicide. Investigators noted that there were signs of a forced entry into the residence, suggesting a violent home invasion.
