Do you know who murdered Damion Morton? In the spring of 2017, a burst of gunfire on a Louisville street cut short the life of 38-year-old Damion Morton. On the night of April 8th, at roughly 10:20 p.m., Morton was driving in the 1300 block of Cypress Street in the Parkland neighborhood when he was struck by a bullet. First responders found him inside his vehicle and rushed him to University Hospital.
For three days, Morton clung to life, but his injuries proved too severe. He succumbed to the gunshot wound on April 11, 2017. K
