On September 17, 2019, 25-year-old Troy Todd Jr. was fatally shot in Louisville, Kentucky, during a drive-by shooting in the Russell neighborhood. The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on River Park Drive, where police found a vehicle that had crashed and flipped, with Todd and a female passenger inside. Todd sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead shortly after, while the woman survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
