Do you know who murdered Mortell Ashford? In the Shawnee neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, a Sunday afternoon was shattered by gunfire that ended the life of Mortell Ashford. On February 12, 2017, the 26-year-old Black male was found deceased in the street at the intersection of North 39th Street and Jewell Avenue around 2 p.m. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later confirmed that Ashford's death was a homicide resulting from multiple gunshot wounds.
