In the early hours of a Monday morning in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of Anthony Washington Jr. was tragically cut short. On June 15, 2020, in the California neighborhood, police responded to a call and found the 31-year-old Black male suffering from a gunshot wound at 2226 Osage Avenue. Emergency services transported him to the University of Louisville Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
