On May 13, 2023, a shooting incident in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, resulted in the death of Demontae Jakwan Tyreek Marshall, a 22-year-old man. The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. and was reported to have stemmed from a dispute inside a business that spilled out onto the street.
