On a cold Thursday in February, the life of Mark E. Lucas, a 61-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On February 2, 2023, Lucas was discovered inside a vehicle on Broadleaf Drive in Louisville, Kentucky, the victim of a fatal shooting.
