In the quiet, pre-dawn hours of January 22, 2025, a residence on South Valley Street in Kansas City, Kansas, became the scene of a tragedy that would mark the city's first homicide of the year. Inside his home, 40-year-old James Adam Jackson, a male resident of the city, was found by first responders suffering from gunshot wounds.
