In the early morning hours of October 1, 2021, the life of Tyrelle Baker, a 40-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in his Kansas City, Kansas community. At approximately 7:30 a.m., officers from the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department responded to a call regarding a shooting in the 2100 block of North 33rd Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Baker, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
