In the winter of 2017, the life of 24-year-old Adam Salazar, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Kansas City, Kansas. On the evening of Thursday, February 23, 2017, a burst of gunfire erupted at the intersection of 22nd Street and Parallel Parkway. When the chaos subsided, two individuals were found to have been shot.
