On June 19, 2024, shortly before noon, Kansas City, Kansas, police responded to a reported shooting in the 2000 block of N. 33rd Terrace. Upon arrival, officers discovered Justin R. Diaz, 26, of Raymore, Missouri, outside with an apparent gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
