In the afternoon of September 21, 2024, a tragedy unfolded in Kansas City, Kansas, that cut short the life of 28-year-old Trever Michael Rickerson, a White / Caucasian male. The incident occurred around 3:20 p.m. near the intersection of 10th Street and Kansas Avenue. Rickerson was at or near Quickies Burgers and Fries when a suspect, who was reportedly walking by the restaurant, engaged him in a verbal altercation.
