In the early afternoon of a Friday in Muncie, Indiana, a young man's life was cut short by gunfire. DeJay DayQuan Kidd, a 20-year-old male from Minnesota, was shot on February 7, 2025, at a residence on South Elm Street. The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. Following the shooting, Kidd was rushed to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, but he was ultimately pronounced dead.
