DeJay DayQuan Kidd, a 20-year-old Black male from Minnesota, was fatally shot in Muncie, Indiana, on February 7, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. at a residence located in the 2100 block of South Elm Street. Kidd was transported to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities conducted an autopsy the following day to determine the exact cause of death.
