Eddie Demarcus Phillips, a 23-year-old resident of Muncie, Indiana, tragically lost his life on October 12, 2016. Phillips was fatally shot in the 700 block of South Hackley Street in Muncie. The incident occurred around 1:29 a.m., and Phillips was pronounced dead at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital at 2:35 a.m. The Delaware County Coroner, Scott Hahn, confirmed that Phillips suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
