In the early hours of an August morning in 2011, the life of 30-year-old Damian Tiffin, an African-American man, was cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. On August 2nd, police responded to a call of a shooting near 19th and Sprague Streets. There they found Damian Tiffin with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. He was rushed to Creighton University Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Another man, Markice McDonald, was also found at the scene with injuries and was ...
