Fonta Dupree Whitlock, a 23-year-old African-American man, was shot and killed in Omaha, Nebraska on May 24, 2007. He was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds inside a car located near Hank's Bar on Ames Avenue. Despite the response from law enforcement, the injuries proved fatal. His death was classified as a homicide.
