On September 28, 2022, a 13-year-old Hispanic male named Leonard "Lenny" Alexander Rodriguez was tragically killed in Omaha, Nebraska. The young Ralston eighth-grader, who was known for his funny personality and beautiful smile, was fatally shot near Hanscom Park. After being found with a gunshot wound, he was transported to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
